Draft Terms of Reference for the Broad Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Scheme Review
The following draft Terms of Reference document has been distributed to a wide range of stakeholders for consultation and feedback over a 5-week timeframe. If you would like to contribute to the consultation and have not already been contacted, please send a request to participate to broadschemereview@justice.tas.gov.au.
These draft Terms of Reference set out the scope, purpose and objectives of the Broad Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Scheme Review They outline the matters to be examined, key areas of focus, and the principles that will guide the review process.
Once finalised, the independent Review Panel will use the Terms of Reference as the framework for its work, ensuring that consultations, research, analysis and recommendations remain focused on the issues. The document also provides transparency for stakeholders and the community by clearly defining the review's remit, expected outcomes and reporting requirements.
This document is intended to guide the Review Panel throughout the review and support a thorough, evidence-based assessment of the scheme's effectiveness, sustainability and operation.
