ContactThe WorkCover Board Tasmania recognises the value of partnership and sponsorship arrangements. This program allows the Board to directly engage with target audiences to increase their knowledge of better work health and safety practices.
- The Board sponsored the Society for Mental Health Research Conference keynote session speaker Professor Tony LaMontagne, Professor of Work, Health and Wellbeing at Deakin University. The conference was held at the Hobart Grand Chancellor from 24 to 26 March 2022, with over 330 in-person registrations for the Conference and 100 virtual attendees.
- The Board and WorkSafe were Stage Sponsors for the 2022 Mind Games, promotes mentally healthy workplaces while raising money for research to support better prevention and treatment of mental illnesses. All proceeds raised fund research into workplace mental health through the Menzies Institute for Medical Research. The Mind Games took place on 13 May in The Goods Shed, Macquarie Point. 250 Tasmanians from 50 local businesses participated in the 2022 event.
