WorkCover Tasmania Board Annual Reports

The Board was established in July 2001 following amendments to the Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988. The Board oversees the operation of Tasmania’s Workers Rehabilitation Compensation Scheme, reviews the incidence and cost of workplace injuries, and provides advice to the Minister on the effectiveness of the scheme and the associated legislation. Under the Workplace Health and Safety Act 1995, the WorkCover Board has the function to promote the prevention of injuries and the development of healthy and safe workplaces.
