Primary Treating Medical Practitioner Handbook

Provide feedback on a new Primary Treating Medical Practitioner Handbook being developed.

WorkCover Tasmania is developing a new handbook for medical practitioners who are involved in managing workplace injuries within the Tasmanian workers compensation scheme.

This handbook will not only set out WorkCover’s expectations when managing workers compensation cases but will also have a “how to” flavour that will aim to assist medical practitioners by answering many of those difficult workers compensation questions that arise when dealing with more complex cases.

The purpose of the handbook and a summary of the proposed content is provided in the synopsis below.
