Becoming an impairment assessment specialist
Medical practitioners who wish to assess permanent impairment must be accredited by the WorkCover Tasmania Board.
Assessing the degree of permanent impairment must be done in accordance with Version 3 of the Guidelines for the Assessment of Permanent Impairment below.These guidelines have recently been revised, and apply to all assessments of impairment that are done from 1 October 2011. They include a template that is to be used when preparing assessment reports.
